YOUR FUTURE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conceptual design and optimization as well as organization and execution of exercises and practical trainings in the fields of drivetrain and automation technology as well as the basics of electrical and control engineering in our Bachelor’s and, if applicable, Master’s degree programs in consultation with the professors
  • Supervision of student projects and theses in the above-mentioned fields
  • Support in the maintenance and safety-related supervision of the laboratories and plants in the above-mentioned fields
  • Support of the professors* in procurements
  • Support of research in the above-mentioned fields

YOUR SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • You have a very good degree (Bachelor or equivalent) in electrical engineering (preferably in the fields “Electrical Machines and Drives” or “Automation Technology”) or closely related study courses
  • You have knowledge and experience with bus technologies (e.g. bus systems like Profibus, Canbus or Ethercat)
  • You have programming skills in high-level languages such as C or C++ and knowledge of applications such as Matlab/Simulink, Lab View or Twincat
  • You have experience with commissioning and troubleshooting technical systems, preferably in combination with further practical experience, switching authorizations or knowledge concerning the design of electrical systems
  • You work in a structured and independent manner
  • You have very good organizational and communication skills, as well as a strong team player
  • You have good written and spoken German and English language skills (at least level B 2 according to CEFR, level B 1 if necessary in connection with a Learning Agreement to reach level B 2 within the probationary period)
