We offer a total of 37 undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes in four multidisciplinary faculties: Technology and Bionics, Life Sciences, Society and Economics, and Communication and Environment. International collaboration is a strength of ours, seen and felt in our network of over 90 partner universities in 38 countries. Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences is not only connected to the larger world, but also deeply rooted in its Dutch-German EUREGIO home as well.

At the Faculty of Technology and Bionics, the Department of Thermodynamics and Process Engineering is investigating the use of small turbines in abrasive waters. For this purpose, the concept of a bladeless turbine is to be evaluated using measurement technology and optimised using simulations. The advertised position is a qualification position in accordance with the guidelines of Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences for the promotion of scientific qualification with the aim of a doctorate.
