Research Associate in Economics with focus on Microeconomics

German TV-L pay scale level EG 11, full-time, fixed-term contract for 2 years according to § 14 Abs.2 (TzBfG)

Your tasks

  • Assistance in planning, conception and implementation of teaching units in economics, especially microeconomics, game theory, competition economics and industrial organisation, as well as quantitative (primarily econometric) and/or game-theoretical and experimental methods
  • Participation in national and international research projects
  • Responsibility for related administrative tasks in the Faculty of Society and Economics

Your profile

  • Bachelor or equivalent degree in economics with a focus on microeconomics and economic methods
  • Structured and independent way of working, strong conceptional and analytical skills
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, as well as outstanding teamwork skills
  • Good command of the German and English language in speech and writing (CEFR level B2)
  • Profound knowledge of empirical and experimental research methods is preferable
